What are Peptides and how do they work?

A Peptide is a short-chain of amino acids linked by peptide bonds. These are created when the Protein is broken down into small-chain peptides. Because the larger protein bonds are broken down into smaller bonds, digesting food becomes easier, allowing for the highest digestibility and absorption rates possible.

Peptide+ Gastrointestinal Digestive Care is specially formulated to provide enhanced nutrient absorption, protect the intestinal barrier and support gut health. The Turkey in the recipe is hydrolysed, breaking down the large protein bonds into the smaller peptides, making the digestion and absorption of food easier on the whole digestive system while also nourishing and renewing the intestinal epithelial cells. With the addition of collagen peptides to help maintain the intestinal barrier and postbiotics to balance and maintain effective immune cell response in the stomach.
